Digital Security Training for Women Journalists, AMWIK, deadline 30 January

AMWIK will hold a one-day Digital Security Training for Women Journalists on Friday 2nd February 2018 from 8am-5pm at Meridian Hotel Nairobi.

The training is a partnership initiative with Safe Sister Project of DefendDefenders with support from Bread for the World and Internews. The objective of the training is to equip members with practical digital skills to enhance their online safety.

If you have never benefitted from any digital security training, then this opportunity is for you. Kindly send an email to info@amwik.org explaining how this training will benefit you. Students studying journalism are also encouraged to apply. Your email should reach us by Tuesday, 30th January 2018 at 5pm.

Participants will be required to carry their laptops and smartphones for the practical lessons.
