Dear film screening enthusiast,
Docubox- EADFF together with our partner Avant Cinema, would like to invite you to our “Peace at Elections Campaign” screenings to be held at Shalom House, Ngong Road in July. The films to be screened are; Ni Sisi on the 8th, Something Necessary on the 15th and Togetherness Supreme on the 22nd of July 2017 respectively. Events start at 6.00 PM and screening starts at 6.45 PM.
Ni Sisi, produced by S.A.F.E Kenya tells the story of a Kenyan village, dogged by post-election violence. The characters explore issues of corruption, political bribery, tribalism etc. For more information, see the attached PDF posters.
We would also like to invite you for our July monthly screening of Democrats. Set in Zimbabwe, the film is about the country’s general elections, the formation of a Coalition Government and its attempts to change the constitution…. Sounds like Kenya in many ways right?
Welcome to our “Peace at Elections Campaign” and be deeply challenged.
