Following on from the success of recent projects in Kenya such as Drivers of Accountability Programme (DAP), DAI seeks specialists with expertise in several technical areas, for long- and short-term positions for a forthcoming programme in Kenya. These technical areas include…

  • Oil and gas sector policy and regulation (e.g. fiscal regime and local content)
  • Community engagement (with government and private sector stakeholders)
  • Public service reform
  • Human and institutional capacity building
  • Civil society strengthening and social accountability
  • Oil and gas sector supply chain development
  • Small and medium enterprise/supplier development
  • Business linkages (with markets)
  • Access to finance
  • Political economy analysis
  • Environmental and social impact assessment
  • Communications and public awareness (including behaviour change communication)
  • Monitoring and evaluation
  • Finance, operations, and grants management

Requirements:

  • Degree in degree in public policy, economics political science, environmental sciences, business  administration, law or relevant technical field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with international donor-funded projects, including DFID, preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in Kiswahili and advanced English skills required
